Policy Objectives

The objectives of this Health and Safety policy are to prevent accidents, injuries and work-related ill health arising from our operations; to identify and control risks associated with cleaning activities; to provide safe systems of work, safe equipment and suitable personal protective equipment; to ensure staff are competent through information, instruction and training; and to promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the company.

This policy applies to all employees of Cleaner Belsize Park and to any contractors working on our behalf.

Responsibilities

Senior management has overall responsibility for ensuring that appropriate arrangements, resources and controls are in place to manage health and safety effectively. Management will review this policy regularly and make any necessary updates in line with changes in legislation, industry guidance and the nature of our work.

Where required, assessments are carried out to manage risks from hazardous substances. Staff are trained in the safe handling, storage, dilution, application and disposal of chemicals, and in the use of any personal protective equipment specified for particular products or tasks.

Personal Protective Equipment
